Let me introduce myself: My name is Rachel Watson and I am addicted to being a hairstylist. I first fell in love with hair at 9 years old when my older sister dyed my hair ruby red while my mom was on vacation. I felt awesome, I felt powerful, I felt like myself. It didn't take me long to realize how important hair is to your identity. To feel like the outer you matches the inner you. To look in the mirror and enjoy what you are looking at. To feel human again. To be confident in who you are.

Since then I've been a life-long learner of the beauty industry and still love hair. I've been in salon life since 2020 trying to help everyone feel a little bit better about taking on the world, one head of hair at a time. My favorite things to do are: explaining the science of hair, playing with the colors of the rainbow, blending away those pesky silvers, giving you the best haircut of your life, and making you fall asleep during my nap-worthy head massage.
